Roger Wilson is a minor antagonist in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
History[]
Roger Wilson is first seen arriving at a Chinese dig site and meets up with Alex. He even comments on how much he has gotten to resemble his father to the point he almost mistook him for him. When the excited professor shares the fact that he knows about the colossus, Alex is hesitant until he gets reassured. Soon they both hear that a dig site worker found the entrance.
Soon after blowing the entrance open, Wilson, Alex and three other men enter. Soon the five notice booby traps and the skeletal remains of a man who went missing trying to find them. Despite this, Wilson says they should move on. Soon another mechanism is set off that reveals the Terracotta Army and the Emperor.
As the men walk up, booby traps are set off that kill the three dig site members one by one. This causes Wilson to believe they are part of finding the tomb. Upon finding the tomb, Wilson notices they are pointing in the same direction. After they leave the tomb with their discovery, a woman knocks Wilson out cold.
Later on at the Museum of Shanghai, the family meet up with Wilson, who has recovered from his ambush. Rick is not too thrilled to know his son did an expedition without his permission. After being asked to give an amulet to him and they do it, Wilson shows his true colors after General Yang arrives.
When Yang arrives, Wilson holds the family at gunpoint while revealing that Yang has paid for expeditions. After taking Rick’s guns, he also reveals he bribed the Foreign Office. Soon Wilson forces Rick to open a sarcophagus with a crowbar. Soon Alex knocks the gun out of the hands of the corrupt professor after he attempts to shoot Rick. When Alex tries to shoot Wilson, he begs him not to do it. Soon everyone sees the statue is the emperor.
Death[]
After the Dragon Emperor is brought back to life, Wilson and Yang are amazed. Yang kneels before him and Wilson tries to board the Chariot. However the Dragon Emperor uses his hand to smack the head of the professor clean off.
