Rondo (portrayed by Jared Kemp) is a minor character in The Purge: Election Year. He was a young man who took part in the 2040 Purge in Washington D.C.. During the event, Rondo was wounded, but was picked up by Purge triage nurse Laney Rucker.
Later on, Laney rescues Joe Dixon, Marcos Dali, Leo Barnes and Senator Charlie Roan, hiding them in her armoured van along with Rondo, who is still lying in a cot. Unfortunately, Roan is being tracked by a group of mercenaries hired by the NFFA to assassinate the Senator. The mercenaries' helicopter locates Laney's van and opens fire, the hail of bullets from its chain-gun piercing the vehicle's armour. Rondo is the only one to be killed by the gunfire as he was tied down on his cot and unable to move.
