Sasha Woodman was a minor character from the TV series Smallville. Originally appearing in the first season, she was the "freak of the week" in the episode "Drone". She would appear again in the Season 7 episode "Cure". She was portrayed by Shonda Farr in Season 1 and Jovanna Huguet in Season 7.

History[]

While attending Smallville High School, Sasha was obsessed with becoming class president. She stated repeatedly that her parents expected it of her. She was stung more than a thousand times in Shuster's Gorge by Africanized bees, which were apparently infected by the kryptonite meteors. Shuster's Gorge was the location of the deepest meteor hit.

Although allergic to bee stings, Sasha somehow survived this attack. Later, she discovered that she had the power to control the bees as if she were the hive queen. She used her powers over the bees to get rid of the competition. She put two students in the hospital before Clark Kent stopped her. She tried to get rid of Clark, but the bees turned on her and put her in a coma.

Sasha later ended up in Belle Reve Sanitarium. While there, she was treated by Dr. Curtis Knox who was able to cure her of her meteor abilities via brain surgery. The procedure also left Sasha with no memories of her crimes. Six years after first being admitted, she was released from Belle Reve. One night, she visited the Talon where Chloe Sullivan saw her and was shocked, thinking that Sasha had escaped. Sasha explained that she no longer had her powers and didn't remember the last six years, apologizing to Chloe for anything she might have done in the past.

Death[]

The same night that she had been confronted by Chloe, Sasha was ambushed by Dr. Knox as she made her way to her car. The doctor knocked her out with ether and took her back to his surgery where he operated on her again, removing her stomach so he could transplant it into his lover Sophia. After the surgery, Knox took Sasha's body to the LuthorCorp fertilizer plant where it could be mulched so as her murder couldn't be traced back to him.
