Tai Lung is the main antagonist of the movie Kung Fu Panda.
History[]
Tai Lung is first seen in the prison where he is being held. Vachir, the warden, hearing from Zeng about a vision of Tai Lung returning, believes it to be nonsense and shows him the snow leopard seemingly giving up hope of escape. However, when Zeng sheds a feather, Tai Lung uses it to escape. After he does so, he evades the many traps and defeats many guards. As he progresses, the remaining guards try to blow up the bridge, but he uses it to his advantage. Soon he grabs Zeng and despite choking the goose, he says in a polite tone that he will be meeting Shifu.
Sometime later, Po learns Tai Lung was once thought to be the dragon warrior. However, Master Oogway sensed dark potentials in the snow leopard. Because of Shifu agreeing, Tai Lung went on a rampage. After trying to get the scroll himself, he was defeated by his former mentor and later arrested.
Sometime later, he encounters the Furious Five on a bridge. Soon afterwards, they are defeated by him despite putting up their best efforts and he says that he is coming after Shifu.
Later, he arrives at the Jade Palace and battles Shifu. Later he questions his former master. Shifu admits that he was blinded by his pride and apologizes to the snow leopard. Despite the efforts, Tai Lung doesn't accept it and sees the scroll is somewhere else. Soon Po arrives and says he is the dragon warrior. Po is briefly knocked away before Tai Lung seizes the scroll.
Death[]
Later, Po follows him to the abandoned village. Soon the two of them fight and soon Tai Lung opens the scroll only to find it blank. Po tells him Kung Fu is unique to every individual. Tai Lung refuses to believe it and attacks Po. He unsuccessfully tries a nerve attack and also tries to knock his opponent out only to get himself knocked into a wall. Soon Po uses his own style and gives the snow leopard a massive beating. Despite being defeated, Tai Lung tries one last time to defeat Po, only for him to get caught in the Wuxi Finger Hold. Shocked by this, he begs him not to use it. Po however, uses it and destroys Tai Lung.
