Tanjella (portrayed by Kimberley Kates) is a minor character from the TV series Charmed, appearing in the Season One episode "From Fear to Eternity".
She was a witch who owned an occult bookstore in San Francisco. On Friday the 13th, 1999, she was one of the witches targeted by Barbas.
The night before Friday the 13th, Prue and Phoebe were shopping at Tanjella's store. As it was nearly midnight, Tanjella was in a hurry to close because of the superstition surrounding that day. She explained that on this Friday the 13th, a universal convergence of negative energy would occur that happens once every thirteen hundred years.
After Prue bought Phoebe a lucky charm for her job interview, the sisters left and Tanjella closed her store. Barbas then appeared and confronted her. Tanjella grabbed an amulet, though Barbas informed her that amulets wouldn't work on him. He read her fear of being buried alive in an earthquake. The entire store began shaking and Tanjella was literally scared to death, causing her hair to turn white.
