The Joker is a minor character in the DC Animated Movie Universe. He makes his only appearance in Batman: Hush, in which he is voiced by Jason Spisak.
During the film, the Joker is abducted by the mysterious villain Hush. He was used as leverage by Hush to force Harley Quinn into working for him during his plan to expose and destroy Batman. Joker managed to escape and attempted to meet up with Harley while she was in the midst of fighting Batman and Catwoman at the Gotham Opera House. Tommy Elliot had come out into the alley and was sniped by Hush from a building across the road.
When Batman came into the alley to find Joker standing over Elliot's body, he assumed Joker was the murderer and attacked him, nearly beating him to death. However, Commissioner Jim Gordon arrived at the scene and managed to talk Batman out of killing his arch-nemesis. The Joker was then taken back to Arkham Asylum.
Death[]
The Joker's death is mentioned in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. According to Harley, the Clown Prince of Crime died a week into the Apokoliptian invasion, apparently killed by none other than Batman, who had been brainwashed by Darkseid. Ironically, the Joker had always wanted Batman to kill him, violating his code against taking the lives of his enemies. However, it is unlikely that Joker saw anything funny about being killed by a Batman being controlled by someone else.
