Sir Thomas Rotheram is a minor character from Guy Ritchie's 2009 Sherlock Holmes film. He is the Lord Chief Justice of England, a member of the Temple of the Four Orders and the father of the film's main antagonist, Henry Blackwood. He is portrayed by James Fox.

Sir Thomas and the other members of his order try to convince Sherlock Holmes to take on the case of stopping Lord Blackwood, whom they believe will come after them. Holmes agrees, but out of personal interests and not for any price that the order offers him.

One night, as Sir Thomas is bathing, he finds that his son has entered the bathroom and struggles to flee. He is unable to get out of the bathtub or turn off the taps and he drowns. Holmes later reveals that Blackwood had entered the bathroom before his father had and had coated the inside of the tub with a paralysing agent, explaining how Rotheram was unable to turn the taps off and making the death appear accidental.
