Tiffany Gale was a minor character from the fourth season of Gotham, appearing in the episode "Pieces of a Broken Mirror". She was a waitress who worked at a diner in the Narrows and had befriended Alfred Pennyworth after Bruce Wayne had fired him.
Following an explosion at a building in the Narrows, Alfred had stepped in to help people get out and receive medical attention. When he came back to the diner, Tiffany praised him and had her patrons hail Alfred as a hero, breaking out some whiskey to celebrate. While they drank, Alfred noticed a scar on her head that had been hidden by her hair. When he asked about it, Tiffany insisted that she had just fell, but Alfred immediately knew that it was a sign of physical abuse.
That night, Alfred and Tiffany were leaving the diner and a van drew up to them. Tiffany's boyfriend, Gil Rooney, greeted Tiffany, who introduced him to Alfred. Gil thanked Alfred for his kindness in escorting Tiffany, but Alfred saw through the friendly facade and immediately punched him in the face. Tiffany broke up the fight and assured Alfred that she could handle things as she got into Gil's van.
Unfortunately, Tiffany was found dead by the police the next day, having apparently been beaten to death. An impression of an SAS signet ring was visible on her forehead; the ring was Alfred's, who had dropped it during his scuffle with Gil, who had picked it up and worn it as he beat Tiffany. Due to the signet impression, Alfred had been detained as the lead suspect, though he would sneak away from police custody while Jim Gordon was distracted talking with a uniformed officer. Alfred would later avenge Tiffany after meeting Gil again in the bar that Harvey Bullock was working in, beating him severely before seeing him arrested by the police.
