Trey Cooper was a minor character in the slasher-horror crossover film Freddy vs. Jason. He was a teenage resident of Springwood and the first character to die in the film. He was portrayed by Jesse Hutch.
History[]
Trey was your stereotypical high school jock: he was overly macho, rude, and was a control-freak towards his girlfriend Gibb. At the beginning of the film, Trey and his friend Blake Mueller attended a house party at 1428 Elm Street, then occupied by Lori Campbell During this visit, he was openly rude to the others and demanded sex from Gibb. He also repeatedly expressed his disgust over the fact that Gibb was a smoker and often smelled of cigarettes.
Death[]
After having sex, Gibb went to take a shower while Trey lay in bed on his stomach with a beer in hand. With his back turned, he failed to notice that the masked undead serial killer Jason Voorhees had entered who took the teen by surprise, impaling him several times through the back with his machete. If that weren't enough, Jason also folded the bed inwards, snapping Trey's spine in the process.
After Gibbs discovered Trey's mutilated corpse, she and her friends ran out of the house and called the police. None of them had seen Jason and the Springwood Police feared that the murder was the work of Freddy Krueger.
