Vince Davis (portrayed by Tahmoh Penikett) is a minor character from the TV series Smallville. Appearing in the Season 3 episode "Resurrection", he was the older brother of that episode's antagonist Garrett Davis. The two brothers were very close, having lost their parents when they were young.
Vince was admitted to Smallville Medical Center with a rare liver disease and required a transplant, but died before he could get one. His body was then discreetly rushed to Metron Pharmaceutical in Metropolis where it was used in a LuthorCorp-funded experiment to revitalise dead tissue. The Lazarus serum developed by Metron resurrected Vince and he returned to Smallville to see his brother Garrett. However, the effects were temporary and Vince began to deteriorate. He was rushed back to Smallville Medical Center but the doctors were unable to save him. This drove Garrett to desperation and he threatened to blow up the hospital with a kryptonite bomb if Vince wasn't given a new liver.
Clark Kent had investigated Metron and discovered the Lazarus serum, stealing a sample in the hopes that it could save Vince. He brought it back to Smallville and gave it to Garrett, but the serum visibly bubbled and changed colour in proximity to the kryptonite Garrett was wearing. When the serum was administered to Vince, it had no effect and Vince died once again.
