Wally (portrayed by Don Thompson) is a supporting character in the horror-comedy film Slither. He is a middle-aged member of the Wheelsy Police Force serving under Chief Bill Pardy. Following a rash of animal murders, Wally joins a posse n search of the culprit. The posse discovers that Grant Grant is responsible for the killings and follow him back to an old shack in the woods. Grant is no longer there, but had been holding Brenda Gutierrez captive there. The mutated Grant has turned Brenda into a breeder for the parasitic organism he now hosts and Brenda's body has ballooned to an absurd size as she has been constantly fed raw meat to accommodate the growth of Grant's offspring. Brenda's parasitic young tear out of her body and swarm over the posse members, including Wally who is infested by one of them.
Death[]
Wally loses consciousness after one of the alien worms forces itself down his mouth. Minutes later, he awakens as a puppet of the mutated Grant, acting as an extension of Grant's will who communicates to Starla through Wally and the other infectees. Starla tells Wally and the other infected to stay back, holding up a shotgun. Grant/Wally isn't convinced that Starla will shoot him, but is quickly proven wrong when Starla blasts half of Wally's head off.
