Will Thomas was a minor character from the fifth season of Gotham. He was a young boy who had been orphaned following Gotham City being declared a no-man's land.

History[]

A month after Gotham had been cut off from the outside world, Will's home was invaded by thugs who murdered his parents and sold him into slavery. He and several other children were forced by Sykes and the Soothsayers to dig a tunnel for them that would grant them exclusive access to the outside. Somehow, Will was able to escape and make it to the Green Zone, a safe area in Gotham protected by the GCPD.

After arriving at the GCPD, Will told Captain Jim Gordon about his friends who were still being held by the Soothsayers. Gordon organized a raid on the Soothsayers' hideout and succeeded in liberating their child slaves. These children were taken to a building called Haven where refugees were being housed.

Death[]

In the episode "Penguin, Our Hero", Haven survived a takeover attempt by the Street Demonz and the Undead. Shortly after the gangs were defeated, however, a mind-controlled Edward Nygma fired a rocket into Haven, destroying its generator and igniting the oil circulating throughout the building, causing a series of catastrophic explosions. Will was among the 311 people to have died in the blast.
