Captain William Boone is the main antagonist of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book.
History[]
Boone is first seen when he flirts with Kitty Brydon. Soon Mowgli intervenes and knocks Boone into a river. Soon he commands some soldiers to attack Mowgli, but they are defeated. Later, he arrives and sees Mowgli and assumes he's trying to kill the girl.
Soon he attempts to get Mowgli to tell them about the dagger. However he gets no answer. Then he tries to get Harley to beat an answer out. Later at a tavern, Boone holds a meeting about some treasure. Later Mowgli discovers how corrupt Boone is. After a bit Boone pops the question to Kitty. Later at a party, he humiliates Mowgli. Kitty soon dumps him after this. Then he has some bandits attack the Colonel. After a bit he has mowgli captured.
Later that night, he attempts to kill Shere Kahn but Buldeo warns him against it. The next day, Boone has some of his goons perish. Later he forcefully drags Kitty to the temple. After entering they both plummet into the treasure room. Then he and Mowgli fight.
Death[]
After Kitty comes around, she tries to get some treasure but Mowgli advises against it. Boone however greedily takes a bag full of treasure. When Kitty leaves with Mowgli, he says she is no longer needed. Soon he notices the monkeys have gone quiet. He gets attacked by Kaa and soon he falls into the pool and sees many of the python's past victims. He then screams as the python kills him and presumably consumes his body.
