William Dole was a minor character from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Appearing in the Season 7 premiere "The New Deal", he was a corrupt New York police officer involved with smuggling alcohol during the Great Depression.
One night in 1931, Dole and two of the officers under his command were receiving a shipment of alcohol from Jimmy Bottles. Waiting inside a closed pharmacy, Dole and his men were surprised when three strange individuals entered, claiming to be Chronicoms from another world. Dismissing Luke's words as insane drivel, Dole warned the men to leave, but they then killed his officers by gunning them down with alien energy weapons.
Luke then approached Captain Dole with a strange device. When Dole asked what he wanted, Luke told him that he wanted his face before activating the device. Dole screamed in terror as the Eraser device removed his face and extracted his mental patterns, allowing Luke to assume his identity and mannerisms. The process also killed Dole as his mind was erased and no longer had a mouth with which to breathe.
